A LLANNOR man will be cycling over 30 miles on his penny-farthing to raise awareness and funds for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).
Dyfed Pritchard will be taking on the challenge, which will see him travel from Efailnewydd to Aberdaron, and back, on Wednesday, 17 August.
The 40-year-old is no stranger to taking on challenges to raise funds for charity, as only a few years ago he cycled from Holyhead to Cardiff in aid of Macmillan Cancer in memory of his father.
He said: “I’ve decided to raise money for the RNIB as some friends of mine have a condition that means they will lose their sight eventually.
“I like a challenge so I thought this would be a unique thing to do.
“A few years back I cycled from Holyhead to Cardiff for Macmillan as I lost my father to cancer. I’m lucky to have such a supportive family that help me in my little adventure, my wife Bethan and three children, Sophie, Cai and Noah think I’m bonkers!”
