It was somewhat pleasing to read a motorist had been fined £660 for speeding at 55mph in a 30 limit.

Here in Cribyn we have a30mph speed limit which almost everyone ignores.

A section of road into the village has no pavement and also has pedestrians having to cross this road to a local amenity, dodging vehicles regularly doing 50 to 60mph!

In 14 years here, I have only seen policing of this busy road twice. It is a scandal that our protests and complaints are ignored, yet there is a real danger a pedestrian will be injured or killed while this speed limit remains unenforced.
