POLICE are appealing for information following a serious collision near Newcastle Emlyn which has left a 43-year-old man in a critical condition.

Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the collision, which took place on the A484 Cenarth to Newcastle Emlyn road at approximately 4.40pm yesterday, and says the vehicle involved was a dark colour Volvo V40.

The road was closed and then reopened at 10.15pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone with information about the collision to call 101.
