Aberdyfi RNLI volunteers will host a recruitment morning this Sunday between 10am and 12.30pm as they invite supporters to find out more about the charity’s work of saving lives at sea.

They are looking for people to join the team and help support the station in a number of roles; the roles vary from lifeboat crew to shop volunteers, all of which are vital to saving lives at sea.

Have you ever thought about volunteering for the RNLI, but you aren’t sure which role would suit you? Go along to the recruitment day where current volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions and to help explain the vacancies in more detail.

Lifeboat operations manager David Williams said: “Volunteering with the RNLI gives you the opportunity to make a difference in your local community and to help us save lives at sea. Our charity couldn’t function without the help of our selfless and hardworking volunteers.

"If you’re interested in learning more about possible opportunities and make a difference in your community, please join us this Sunday.”

The charity is hoping to attract people from all walks of life and most new recruits don’t need to have sea-going experience to get involved.
