A BODY has been found during the search for missing 18-year-old Frantisek ‘Frankie’ Morris.

Frankie, from Llandegfan on Anglesey, was last seen on 2 May.

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team, who are based in Porthmadog, assisted in the search for Frankie.

North Wales police confirmed that they have found a body in woodland on the outskirts of Bangor.

A spokesperson for the police said: “The body was found in dense woodland near Caerhun on the outskirts of Bangor earlier this afternoon (3 June).

“Frankie’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.”

Detective Chief Inspector Lee Boycott said: “Our deepest, heartfelt sympathies go to Frankie’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
