Police are investigating after a body was found on the beach near Constitution Hill on Friday.
The body of a male was found on Friday morning, 22 November, with a police spokesperson saying it is not being treated as suspicious.
While Ceredigion Coroner Peter Brunton has been informed of the death, police have not formally identified the man.
A police spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police is investigating the sudden death of a male who was found on the beach below Constitution Hill, Aberystwyth on Friday morning, 22 November.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.
"Next of kin have been advised."
A spokesperson later added that the man is not believed to be local to the area.
"H.M Coroner has been advised."
