A 42-YEAR-old Cardigan man appeared in court in Swansea this morning accused of arson with intent to endanger life.
Nathan Lee Jones, aged 42, of Golwg y Castell, was arrested and charged after a fire outside a property in Castle Street in the early hours of Tuesday, 16 June.
A 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, also from the Cardigan area, have been released on bail.
The move follows an attack on the home of Garfield Davies’ family when the front of the property sustained damage after the blaze was started in a refuse bin outside.
Mr Davies, who lives at the address with his wife and two children, said afterwards that their lives had been saved by a smoke alarm.
