A DRIVER was lucky to escape serious injury after flipping a van on a road in Llanuwchllyn.

Emergency services were called after the van ended up on its side on the A494 on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “We received a call regarding a one-vehicle accident at 3.30pm. There were minor injuries.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed: “We were called on Saturday, 27 October, at approximately 3.30pm to reports of an incident on the A494, Llanuwchllyn. We responded with two emergency ambulances and one patient was treated at the scene.”
