EMERGENCY services are in Tywyn this afternoon after it is believed a kayaker got into difficulty in choppy seas.

Coastguard ambulance and air ambulance are on the scene in Tywyn with local reports suggesting CPR was administered on the beach.

An eyewitness told the Cambrian News: “The kayaker seems to have been pulled by a rip tide.

"All the emergency services are here and CPR was administered on Tywyn beach.

"We all just pray that he pulls through.”
