A 45-YEAR-OLD man appeared in court on Thursday accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent at Barmouth.
Peter McAllister, of Kings Crescent, Barmouth, was accused of attacking Mark Stanton in King Edward’s Street on 6 December.
Prosecutor James Neary said the alleged victim was “serious but stable” in a Cardiff hospital.
Sion Hughes, defending at Llandudno court, made no application for bail.
District judge Gwyn Jones remanded McAllister in custody until a hearing in January at Caernarfon Crown Court.
