A COLLISION on the A487 near Dolgellau has left at least one person with life-threatening injuries.
Three people have been taken to hospital after suffering a range of injuries following the collision this afternoon.
Shortly before 2pm, police were notified of a two-vehicle collision involving a blue-coloured Vauxhall Corsa and a green-coloured Suzuki Vitara on the A487 on the top of Talyllyn Pass.
All three emergency services were in attendance, including two air ambulances.
Two occupants from the Vauxhall Corsa and the driver of the Vitara have been taken to hospitals in mid and north Wales.
The driver of the Vitara has sustained what are believed to be life-threatening injuries and the other two have sustained serious injuries.
The road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
Sergeant Jason Diamond, North Wales Police Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or to anybody who saw either vehicle prior to the collision to contact us immediately.”
