A NORTH Wales man has died after getting into difficulties in a Gwynedd lake this afternoon, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to Llyn Tegid in Bala at around 4.50pm this afternoon (Thursday).

The man was recovererd from the water and taken to Ysbyty Gwyned in Bangor by air ambulance.

North Wales Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious and the man’s next of kin have been informed.
