A man is in hospital after suffering "significant injuries" in an incident at a Penglais Hill pedestrian bridge in Aberystwyth.
Police have confirmed that there was an incident at the footbridge at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 12 February, with a man taken to hospital.
The spokesperson said: "I can confirm that a man was taken to hospital with significant injuries following an incident at Penglais Hill footbridge last night (Wednesday, 12 February).
"He remains in hospital.
"Police were called shortly before 7.30pm and the ambulance service was also in attendance."
