A LLANBEDROG man has been jailed for drug offences.

Dylan Wyn Williams, 28, of Ger y Nant, was sentenced at Caernarfon Crown Court to 14 months’ jail after admitting blackmail and producing 27 cannabis plants at his home.

Detective inspector Gerwyn Thomas said: “The local community should feel reassured that this individual has now been removed from the area and I hope that the sentence given sends out a clear message that North Wales Police will not tolerate the actions of anybody who chooses to be involved in this type of criminality.

“If you are involved with drug-related crime you will be arrested and put before the courts to face the consequences of your actions.”
