A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a collision that closed a busy mid Wales road for over three hours.
Police are appealing for information following a collision on the Llanidloes roundabout on the A470 at 12.25pm on Wednesday between a red Honda VT600 motorcycle and a grey Peugeot 3008.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital by the Wales Air Ambulance.
The road was closed for three and a half hours as a result of the collision, reopening at 4pm.
