Police have confirmed that an investigation into the death of a young woman in Cardigan has ended.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after Corinna Baker, 21, was found dead at Netpool Boat Yard in Cardigan in November last year.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Following a comprehensive review of the evidence in this case, including the findings of the post-mortem examination, the police investigation into the death of Corinna Baker has been closed.

“No further action is being taken against the 29-year-old man who had been arrested on suspicion of murder, and the criminal investigation has been finalised.

“A file of evidence is now being prepared for HM Coroner in preparation of an inquest.

“Corinna’s family have been informed of this decision, and our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.”
