AN investigation about a remote property which was burnt to a shell is still veiled with mystery.

In the early hours of Hallowe’en, emergency services rushed to Myntho to tackle a substantial blaze which had no obvious cause of ignition. Firefighters fought for hours to contain the blaze but the house suffered substantial fire damage.

Eyebrows were raised as the house had been subject of supernatural stories in the past, as the legend of ‘Bwgan Pantywennol’, and is said to have a history of devil worship.

However, a week after the inferno police crime scene and fire investigators are still unable to determine the cause.

“There are no indications at this stage that the fire was started deliberately,” a spokesperson for the investigation stated.
