Police are appealing for information following a serious collision near Borth last night.

Three people sustained what police describe as ’serious injuries’ following a one-vehicle collision on the B4353 at around 8.45pm on Monday evening.

A spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision which occurred at around 8.45pm on Monday, 30 September, along the B4353 near Borth.

"The incident involved one vehicle, a silver Vauxhall Vectra which left the road and came to rest upside down in a field, and resulted in three occupants sustaining serious injuries.

"If anyone has any information on this incident or may have seen the vehicle of a similar description travelling that route at the relevant time, please contact Ceredigion roads policing unit on 101 number quoting police reference DP-20190930-378.”

A Welsh Ambulance spokesperson said: “We were called yesterday at approximately 8.47pm to reports of an incident involving a vehicle near Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club.

"We responded with three emergency ambulances and one rapid response vehicle, and four patients were transported to Bronglais Hospital, Aberystwyth.”
