POLICE are appealing for information following a collision on the B4417.

North Wales Police closed the road in two places last Thursday; on the outskirts of Tudweiliog (Nefyn side) and between Pistyll and Llithfaen.

They advised the public to find alternative routes, saying “the road is likely to be closed for some considerable time”.

Police were called shortly after 7pm on Thursday evening to reports that a single vehicle road traffic collision at Tudweiliog, Pwllheli, had blocked the road.

“Following on from the collision a man was taken to hospital by air ambulance,” a police spokesperson said.

“We can confirm the male has since been released from hospital.
