POLICE say they are upping patrols in a Meirionnydd town following rise in anti-social behaviour -with the latest incident seeing a number of properties being plastered in baked beans.
Officers in Barmouth say that despite a number of interventions, ‘there are still some who are intent on causing on committing anti-social behaviour’.
Police have launched an appeal after baked beans were thrown over a number of properties along Coventry Terrace, Park Road, Barmouth on the evening of Saturday, 23 October.
North Wales Police’s Gwynedd South Facebook page posted: “Despite a number of interventions by the local policing team in Barmouth, it appears that there is still some who are intent on committing anti-social behaviour within the community.
“During the early evening of Saturday the 23 October 2021, baked beans have been thrown at a number of properties in the area of Coventry Terrace, Park Road, Barmouth.
“If you have any information that will help our officers or CCTV that covers this area please visit our website and report via the webchat or call 101 and quote incident reference number - (21000746440).
“We are increasing our patrols in the next few weeks with Halloween and Bonfire looming. Any persons caught causing anti-social behaviour will be dealt with accordingly.”
