A CAR was torched in Pwllheli in the early hours of the morning.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police were alerted shortly after 2am on Monday, 12 September.
The car was discovered on Gimblet Rock, near Morfa Garreg, and was ablaze.
A fire crew from Pwllheli attended the incident and used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the burning car.
A North Wales Fire Service spokeswoman said there was 100 per cent damage to the car and that it was thought to have been started deliberately.
Police officers are now appealing for information from the public to track down who is responsible.
