NORTH Wales Police are appealing for information on a break in at a church in Blaenau Ffestiniog.
A cash box was smashed and further damage was caused to St David’s Church on Church Street in the town.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Sometime between 12.30pm Sunday, 9 February 2020 and 5.15pm Monday, 10 February, unknown person(s) have smashed a lead window at the rear of St David’s Church, Blaenau Ffestiniog and entered the locked church where they have smashed a small cash box used to collect donations from church goers.
"A substantial amount of damage has been caused by the offender(s) in gaining entry into the church and anyone with any information is asked to contact us on 101, or via live webchat https://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/live-chat-support quoting ref. 20000089390."
