AN unconscious man was revived by emergency services after being pulled from the sea on Tuesday evening.

At 7.45pm on Tuesday, 12 July, the emergency services were alerted to a man who had been spotted in the water off Gimblet Rock, near Pwllheli.

North Wales police officers, Abersoch Coastguard and Pwllheli RNLI were called to the scene and CPR was performed on the man by RNLI volunteers before paramedics arrived at the scene.

It is believed a passer­by pulled the man out of the water.

The man was taken by helicopter to Ysb­yty Gwynedd.
