A SMASH in Trefor left one woman hospitalised on Friday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle collision between a blue Vauxhall and a red Škoda on Sea View Terrace, not far from the A499, just after 1pm.
One woman was taken to Ysbyty Gwyneed with non-life-threatening injuries following the crash and the Škoda was so badly damaged it required a full lift to recover the vehicle from the site.
North Wales Police closed the road to clear the debris with the help of Gwynedd Council’s highways team and traffic was reported as building up in the area although the incident was closed just after 3pm.
When asked about the crash, a spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at approximately 1.15pm on Friday afternoon to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Sea View Terrace, Trefor.
“We sent two crews in emergency ambulances and a woman was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with non-life-threatening injuries.”
