A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after a campervan flipped on its side on the A470.

The incident, which occurred last Friday afternoon (12 May), occurred just before the Dolgellau bypass, heading from the direction of Dinas Mawddwy.

The woman’s injuries have been deemed “non-life-threatening”.

The road was closed for over two-and-a-half hours following the crash and caused a glut of traffic in the area.

The road reopened at 3.45pm.
