Fascinating images of Criccieth have been shared once again by Timewatch reader Robert Cadwalader.

Robert, who is secretary of Porthmadog Maritime Museum, shared some amazing historical images with Timewatch last month. Here he shares another of Criccieth beach, circa 1900.

“My father and grandfather were boatmen and fishermen at Criccieth so I have an interest in the beaches,” he explained.

More about the area’s maritime history can be discovered at the maritime museum in Porthmadog, which has reopened for the season (12pm to 4pm) until autumn half-term.
