Wacky Olympics was the theme of the Summer Salt activities organised on Aberdyfi beach over the bank holiday weekend. Once again, the events were arranged by a team from Scripture Union Cymru, returning for a third year. With good weather, a growing number of young and old engaged in a range of family Olympic sports, sand sculpture and a beach fun run along with crafts and other activities - and of course, several Olympic medal ceremonies! The programme also included Bible stories - with active participation (pictured). On Sunday, the team showed their versatility by leading the ‘Ice Cream Sunday’ service in the English Chapel (with free Aberdyfi homemade Ice Cream) and the ‘WoW! Worship on the Wharf! session in the DoveyFest marquee as well.
