Madam,

It was a pleasure and indeed a privilege to have attended the Tenovus concert held in Llanbadarn Church on Friday 11 December. The audience was entertained by the combined choirs from Aberystwyth and Llanidloes to a standard of the highest quality, along with the community youth choir of exceptional talent.

The soloist soprano Ruth Morris has a most wonderful future ahead of her and sang a collection of songs to a very attentive and appreciative audience. Furthermore, it was also pleasing to hear that the Aberystwyth Choral Society performed an excellent rendition of Handel’s Messiah in the Arts Centre on the following night.

It is clearly evident that Aberystwyth has an abundance of talent trained by high-quality teachers to attain such standards, and long may they continue to do so. Well done Aberystwyth!
