I have witnessed the torrent of abuse levelled at Charlie Evans, the Conservative candidate for Dwyfor Meirionnydd over his
posting of a photograph of Llyn Celyn commenting on the beauty of the lake.
Nationalism should be about pride and welcoming, not entrenchment and resentment.Social media gives people anonymity, which some use to be particularly unpleasant which is disrespectful in this instance to the memory of Capel Celyn. It is time the nationalists realised Wales is for all of us and they certainly do not have the monopoly over what to appreciate about Capel Celyn/ Tryweryn.
A controversial project completed 56 years ago gave us a beautiful lake, now photographed many times by many people.
