A charity concert held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of Adran Aberystwyth has raised £1,000 for the town’s hospital.

Adran Aberystwyth held the concert on Sunday, 8 December, at the Morlan Centre.

The concert was the culmination of weeks of rehearsals and preparation led by the Adran’s founders, Helen Medi and Lona Phillips.

Proceeds from the evening went to Bronglais Hospital’s Chemotherapy Unit.

A spokesperson for Adran Aberystwyth said: “It was with great pleasure that the young Adran members recently presented a cheque for £1,000 to Heulwen Lewis of the Chemotherapy Unit (pictured above).

“The Adran leaders and youngsters would like to thank everyone who came to support the special evening in aid of such a worthwhile cause.”
