Llyn musician Al Lewis has released a new single.

Calling My Name (In the Night) is the latest release from Al, who can be seen on S4C’s Adre (Home) on Monday, 15 November at 8pm.

It’s a busy time for the musician, who hails from Pwllheli. As well as the release of his new single he has two Christmas concerts in Cardiff on 10 and 11 December.

“Saturday has already sold out,” Al told Maes of the shows which will take place at St John the Evangelist Church in Canton.

Al fans who can’t make it to Cardiff should keep their eyes peeled.

“I shall also be announcing a new set of dates – including several in North Wales – for Spring 2022 very soon,” Al added.

You can stream his new single now on Spotify at spoti.fi/3B9VO6g, and see his live acoustic session at Broken Hare on his YouTube channel.

“I made a live acoustic video to coincide with the release of my new single,” Al said.

“I headed over to my friend Jon at his Broken Hare workshop in Cardiff and we filmed up on their rooftop.

“Jon and his team create realistic hand-sculpted animal sculptures from their riverside studio.

“You can find out more about what they do over at www.brokenhare.co.uk/

“Their rooftop garden is a hidden gem.

“I loved performing up there, nestled right up against the train tracks, within touching distance almost of the trains chugging into Central Station.

“I’m sure I won’t be the last artist to sing up there.”
