CEREDIGION AM Elin Jones has welcomed the Big Lottery Fund’s announcement that it has more than £30 million available to support groups in Wales who want to make lives better for their communities.
The fund held a launch event at the National Assembly, at which AMs were invited to learn about the grants available for groups within their constituencies.
Ms Jones, who attended the launch, said: “Big Lottery funding has had a significant impact on many communities in Wales, supporting the creation of new services and facilities.
“I would encourage local community groups to look into the opportunities, so that we can make sure that Ceredigion gets its fair share of the latest £30 million round of funding.
“This funding includes £8.8m to transform natural environments through the Create Your Space programme, and £13.5m to address rural poverty which will be warmly welcomed by communities in Ceredigion.
