On Thursday, we had the pleasure and privilege of attending a trial meal and cinema screening at the splendid Aberystwyth Arts Centre as it prepares to open its doors fully to the public next week after a closure of 15 months.
The building has been stylishly and attractively refurbished.
From the moment we were welcomed at the door by friendly and attentive staff and directed to our table in the dining area, which could have given any restaurant a run for its money, to our departure several hours later into the evening sun, the whole experience was pure enjoyment.
First class food, entertainment, customer service and immaculate attention to Covid requirements.
The arts centre, with its stunning views and beautifully maintained surrounds, was at its very best.
The most striking aspect of the evening, as has always been the case, was the warmth of the welcome and the obvious hard work and dedication of the staff who have provided us over the years with this magnificent venue.
Aberystwyth is truly blessed to have it right at its heart. We should all do everything possible to support it every step of the way during the long road to full recovery.
Bless our flagship for the arts and all who sail in her!
