Editor,

The whole nation of Australia is going through terrible weather, with fires throughout much of the country, and their abundant wildlife suffering terribly.

I have travelled throughout this country and its unique terrain is wonderful, with the Great Barrier Reef a wonder to behold - once seen never forgotten.

This terrible weather they are experiencing is a shocking wake-up call to the world.

With factories belching out heat and pollution day in day out, things must change. There have to be more laws on pollution than ever before.

If every nation drastically reduces their output, it would make a difference. We all have to sacrifice something for all of our tomorrows, or we will have none.
