The brilliant care received by friends and family inspired local emergency services workers to organise a ball and auction to raise money and support Bronglais Hospital Chemotherapy Day Unit.

Local firefighters, police officers, hospital workers and business owners came together to organise the ball and auction at Brynrodyn, Borth, last November, and raised an amazing £21,980.

Dr Elin Jones said: “We are very grateful for this kind donation. It will ensure that patients, their families and staff can access a wide range of specialist services and equipment beyond what the NHS can currently provide. The money raised will be used to enhance the care provided for cancer patients in Ceredigion.”
