Digital

A NEW service operated by Gwynedd Digital is operating from Elim Church in Park Road. It offers free advice for those wanting to get online and understand how to use the internet. People will be able to discover how to shop effectively, access information, services and jobs, get in touch with friends and relatives and even how to access catchup television on line. Advisors are available on Monday afternoons from 2pm till 4pm. The National Lottery, Gwynedd Council and Citizens Online have set up and funded the service which will run indefinitely. The purpose is to encourage people to get practical help and advice on the use of any digital device, be it a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or computer, in order to make the most of what the internet has to offer.
