A LLANDINAM woman has come second in an international beauty pageant for the second year in a row.

Beverley Roberts, who has won a host of beauty pageants, won second place in the Ms Royalty International Pageant in Milwaukee, earning herself a place in next year’s competition.

Beverley said she was delighted to be able to compete again next year as competing in the pageants is a way of helping raise money and awareness for a range of charities. Beverley said she received great support as part of her efforts.

She said: “I would like to thank everyone who has been there throughout my journey, especially Karl Lewis, my partner.

“I love the Miss Royalty International system as they make you feel like part of their family and I have made so many friends all over the world.

“Due to me being first runner up I have been offered to represent the UK in 2017 for a third time in the Ms Royalty International pageant in 2017, so fingers crossed next year will be my third time lucky.”

Beverley, 34, has so far helped raise over £30,000 for a range of charities.
