Re: Fly-tipping in the Dyfi river, last week’s Cambrian News, Meirionnydd edition.

This is an alarming development, people resorting to fly-tipping in our rivers. What next? Getting rid of your bed by floating it out to sea?

The people doing this are very sad people, that they can’t make the effort to take these articles to the local tip.

This tipping of rubbish in our beauty spots should, I think, carry a bigger fine. We all cherish these havens, home to our wildlife, and they are sacred to us. We must make these people pay.

To allow this to go on hits at the very heart of our lovely countryside, that only we can preserve.
