“CRAZY” bike riders have been called upon to tackle the gruelling 129-mile route between two of Wales’ foremost mountain bike centres.

Antur ‘stiniog is embracing the year of adventure, and in particular the weekend of adventure on 2-3 April, by awarding those who are fearless enough to ride across Wales to take on the downhill routes in both north and south wales over a couple of days.

Antur Stiniog is situated within the stunning Snowdonia National Park whereas its counterpart. BikePark Wales, is located 129- miles south of Blaenau Ffestiniog in Merthyr Tydfil.

The drive between the two centres takes you right through the heart of Wales and through two of the UK’s most beautiful and un-spoilt National parks.

However, in the spirit of the Welsh year of Adventure, Antur ‘Stiniog and BikePark Wales have set a challenge to mountain bikers.

Any riders who can prove that they have ridden at both centres during the weekend of adventure and taken the incredible route between the two sites will get a free T-shirt.

Anyone who can prove they travelled by public transport will also get a free coffee and a piece of cake but anyone who is ‘crazy’ enough to prove that they have pedalled under their own steam and ridden at both centres during the weekend of adventure will get a T-shirt, cake and coffee as well as a weekend uplift pass at Antur Stiniog or free season pass for BikePark Wales.

Proof of travel is required.
