IT has been confirmed this afternoon that a body found on a beach near Llangrannog is that of missing pensioner, Arthur Roy Taylor.
The senior coroner for Ceredigion, Peter Brunton, today opened an inquest into the death of 90-year-old Mr Taylor, from Rossendale, Lancashire, whose body was found on the beach between Llangrannog and Ynys Lochtyn on 30 April .
Mr Taylor (pictured), known as Archie, went missing from his boat at Gwbert on Saturday, 15 April.
Evidence of identification was taken from DNA profiling, and the inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
