Broken down bus and traffic lights bring afternoon congestion

MOTORISTS in Aberystwyth have been warned to expect delays after a bus broke down on the town’s one way system.

Police have closed the one way system after the bus broke down on the corner of Thespian street and Northgate street at around 1.30pm this afternoon, bringing traffic to a standstill.

Drivers are also having to deal with delays at the Llanbadarn mini rounadbout where workmen introduced three-way traffic lights earlier this afternoon, causing tailbacks.
