AN Aberystwyth man is appealing for information after his brother went missing from his Cardiff home.

Andrew Klemencic, 28, was last seen on Tuesday, 1 November, at around 10am at his home in the Grangetown area.

His brother Matt is now eager for anyone who may know the whereabouts of Andrew, who is known as Drew, to contact the police with information.

Drew has lived in Cardiff for more than 10 years, but is originally from the Bethania area. And while Matt says he believes his brother is unlikely to have left the Cardiff area, he has urged Ceredigion residents to be aware in case Drew has returned to the local area.

Matt, who is currently in Cardiff searching for Drew with help from Drew’s friends, appealed for anyone with any information to contact Cardiff Police.

He said searches were currently taking place around areas which Drew, who is a keen walker, was known to have used, including the Penarth area of Cardiff.

Matt said: “Personally I think he won’t have left the Cardiff area as it’s his home, but he could be anywhere now.

“I’m in Cardiff now. Since Friday night, almost non-stop, we’ve been canvassing the city centre and other outlying areas. We did the Penarth area yesterday and today we’re walking the Ely Trail as he is an avid walker.

“The support has been absolutely fantastic. We’ve got an army of people, with friends and friends of friends helping. The reaction on social media has been incredible as well.”

Anyone with any information regarding Drew is asked to contact Cardiff Police on 101 and quote reference number 372 4/11/16.
