Council buildings in Ceredigion are being lit up in red every night this week to mark Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
All flags on council buildings are also being flown at full-mast until Sunday as a mark of respect.
If you are attending any services, remember to keep a social distance and follow the latest Covid-19 guidance.
Cllr Paul Hinge, chairman of the council and Armed Forces Champion for Ceredigion County Council said: “Although most restrictions have now eased and we’re fortunate to be able to meet up and pay our respects together; we must still remember the basic Covid-19 safety measures to keep everyone safe.
"We can still remember the sacrifices made by past generations and pay tribute to those who lost their lives whether that will be at a public service or in the comfort of our own home.”
The county council is asking people to pay tribute safely and responsibly this year by following Covid-19 guidance such as keeping distance from others and wearing a face mask and also asking people to get vaccinated.
A dedicated page has been set up on the council website for anyone organising an activity or event in the county.
