APPRENTICE plant fitters from across Gwynedd are being sought by Jones Bros Civil Engineering as the firm launches a new qualification.
Six places are being offered on its inaugural plant fitter apprenticeship scheme.
Successful applicants will have an opportunity to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in construction plant or machinery maintenance.
The apprentice plant fitters will receive training in the safe and correct operation of construction plant and/or agricultural machinery.
They will also learn about all aspects of routine maintenance, as well as the diagnosing and repair of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical failures.
And permanent jobs at the company are available for trainees who successful complete the programme and qualify.
Jones Bros builds infrastructure including highways, wind farms and sea defences across the UK.
In recent years, it has built new sea defences at Tywyn and the Porthmadog by-pass.
The closing date for applications is Friday, 20 January 2017.
