A north Wales coach company has won one of National Express’ top awards at the organisation’s annual award ceremony.

Llew Jones, who operate several service buses across Gwynedd, were crowned Operator of the Year (for one to five vehicles) for their top engineering standards, the high number of miles operated and customers carried, as well as customer praise.

James Heath, operations manager at Llew Jones, said: “We have a great team of drivers and a great team of engineers and together they have been working hard to improve our standards year on year, so we were really pleased to receive this award in recognition of our achievements – and would like to thank National Express and our valued customers for their support.”

The UK’s largest coach operator celebrated the hard work of all of their partner operators at the annual awards ceremony which took place in Coventry two weeks ago.

Chris Hardy, managing director at National Express UK Coach said: “We wouldn’t be National Express without our operators.

“Llew Jones help to keep us on the roads on a daily basis and I am pleased to have this opportunity to recognise their efforts and celebrate them as a valued partner.”
