Four takeaways in Aberystwyth have had premises improvement notices terminated after being monitored by officers from Ceredigion County Council’s Public Protection Team.
Notices were issued to Domino’s Pizza, Hot Dumplings, Hollywood Pizza and Star Fried Chicken on Monday due to alleged non-compliance with the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No 4) (Wales) Regulations 2020.
The notices have been terminated after monitoring confirmed that face coverings are being worn by staff members when working in the public areas or in close proximity to other staff, the council said.
Businesses that fail to comply with a premises improvement notice may be issued a premises closure notice, fixed penalty notice of £1,000, or both.
