Madam,
Chris Fryd suggests that county councillors should ask themselves: “Am I representing the views of my constituents?”. He would do better to suggest they ask: “Does the Ceredigion Council Constitution permit me to properly represent the views of my constituents?”
If, like me, and I suggest many others, he is aware of and has considered the supposedly democratic process which allows just eight councillors (the Cabinet) to take final decisions on any matter, he surely will have concluded that the views of constituents in the remaining 32 wards cannot be properly represented.
Yours etc,
Bill Parker, Llanfair Clydogau, Lampeter.
