This photo (right) is courtesy of Google Street View and was taken around four years ago.

I wonder if any of your readers can help with the photo and explain the numerous plastic bags which contain large rocks?

The photo location is directly east of Llyn Cau at a point where the eye meets the Minffordd Path. However they don’t appear to have been placed alongside the path itself. I came across the image as not having managed a walk up Cader for a few years I was having a look to make sure it was still there!
