Staff, residents and their families from an Aberystwyth care home took to the streets for a sponsored walk to raise money for a greenhouse and activities. The sponsored mile-and-a-half walk along the prom was held on Friday, 7 September.
Staff members wore onesies for the occasion while Hafan y Waun residents raised sponsorship for the walk from the Bar at one end of the prom to the harbour marker.
After the walk, a tea and cake celebration was held in the bandstand. Hafan y Waun manager Mandy Pilcher said the even was “amazing”.
“The weather couldn’t have been better,” she said.
