Madam,

I wanted to share my experience with your readers of my time I spent in Llys Cadfan, Tywyn.

The staff there assisted me in my recovery after I had a stroke two years ago. I was enabled and reminded how to achieve simple tasks most of us take for granted, which helped me return to my home.

Not only is Llys Cadfan a residential home for the elderly it has superb day care services that help those in the community with needs such as bathing, and a hot, delicious, home-cooked meal. People come in and spend the day taking part in this welcomed service, with many other activities happening on a daily basis.

I got to meet new friends and have become part of this warm and caring family. Everyone is treated with the same dedication of care in a professional way.

While I was in Llys Cadfan long-term, I found the care staff and management truly helpful and kind, never judgemental. They were always there for me and, although now I only visit once a week, they still care very much about my well-being.

They are still a strong, helpful, supportive team towards me. They act swiftly sorting out any difficulties I may find myself in, and I always return home again with ease knowing all will be well.

I know I can never have the life I used to have back once again, but Llys Cadfan has helped me embrace the life I now have, with limited abilities. God bless Llys Cadfan and the good work that you do for our community.
